A technothriller in the Michael Crichton vein. 9/11 was the world’s worst terrorist atrocity. Julian Fox intended to change that fact. The planning would take months. The attack would take just two minutes. 9/11 had been four airliners, three buildings and 3,000 deaths. What Fox was planning would down 1300 airliners, devastate countless city centres and kill around half a million people. His method wouldn't require a single hijacker: just 23 lines of computer code. Sarah Green was an Aviation Risk Analyst in the Dept of Homeland Security. Her job was to out-think the terrorists: identify weaknesses in airline security arrangements, figure out how those weaknesses might be exploited and get protections in place before the terrorists got their chance. Neither knew the other existed, yet the two were locked into a race that only one of them could win.

About the Author
Tech writer and author of two technothriller novels, 11/9 and The Billion Dollar Heist. I've just started work on the third, a sequel to The Billion Dollar Heist - but as each book takes around two years to write, don't expect to see that one anytime soon.

The first book in many years to grip me like this. A TRUE page turner.
By A. Cresswell
Absolutely Terrific !!!
I was asked to review this and to be honest I wasn't keen. Sci-Fi and Fantasy are more my cup of tea but I received this and on a long journey with nothing to do I reluctantly started to read this. The hours flew past !!! I couldn't wait to get some more personal time to read more. What a brilliant book. It played out in my head like a film and it should definately be made into one. A cross between Day of the Jackel and the Bourne Identity.
Plot is great and well thought out, imagery is superb. For me this author is a revelation, as like I said I'd not normally read this genre but from now on he will be the exception. Good effort and more please !!!!

Potential Lost in the Details
By BSquared18
Mr. Lovejoy either is a commercial pilot himself or did a lot of research, because the technical aspects of the novel are very detailed. Too detailed, really, almost as though the author wants to show off his expertise. It's the equivalent of a Western novel where every step of the hero saddling his horse is explained in excruciating detail. Because I'm an avid aviation buff, believe me, there has to be A LOT of detail in an aviation story for me to lose interest.

The novel started out well, with an interesting super-terrorist theme. But then it seemed to become bogged down in the details of the first crash (I assume there are others, but I didn't get that far). I know I'm losing interest when I start skimming, and that's what I did as the aftermath of the crash was explaining in, yes, excruciating detail.

Finally, I gave up. The rest of the novel may be great. Maybe I'll continue to skim and see what I find.

Well researched, plotted and written
By T. Wilkinson
From the opening scene, Ben hooks you into his well-researched and constructed world. It's clear he's done his homework across the various industries and organizations that are involved in the plot of his book. Naturally there are a few places where credibility is stretched to breaking point, but for such a well-plotted and written book they're more than forgivable. I'm waiting impatiently for Ben's next volume, trailed at the end of 11/9.
