Jesse Ventura is the former Independent governor of Minnesota. He is also a former US Navy frogman, a professional wrestler, a movie actor, a visiting fellow at Harvard Kennedy School of Government, and the New York Times bestselling author of seven books, including American Conspiracies, 63 Documents the Government Doesn’t Want You to Read, and Don’t Start the Revolution Without Me! He was the host and executive producer of truTV’s Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura, which won the Stony Award from High Times magazine in 2010. He was also the host of the political talk show Off The Grid, which aired on RT America and online at Ora.tv. He has a reputation as a rebel and a freethinker, and he has no qualms about questioning authority. He spends half the year in Baja, Mexico and the other half in his home state of Minnesota.
As a publicity consultant, Jen Hobbs has represented Oscar and Emmy award-winning clients as well as politicians and authors. excellent manifesto, albeit coming a bit late in the drug 'war'
By naive theorist
this is a terrific book. it is only lacking one chapter, although that chapter would only have to be one sentence long, stating that an individual's right to use cannabis (a better term to use than pot or marijuana) stems (no pun intended) from the principle of self-ownership whereby nobody has the right to control what another (adult) person puts into their own body. This fundamental libertarian principle does not preclude restrictions on the activities that a person may engage in while 'under the influence' (e.g. one might prohibit people who have ingested trans fat - or people with low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) who have not eaten recently - from driving a vehicle if it could be established that this would place other individuals in imminent danger of harm). my only complaint is that this book should have been written earlier, when the battle for the legalization of medical marijuana had not yet been won (although that war does still require some mopping up action to be completed including the federal rescheduling of cannabis as a drug, or preferably, by the removal of cannabis from the controlled substance schedule, altogether).

Well worth reading if you're interested in learning more about marijuana

Another well researched book by Jesse Ventura with plenty of facts. I read it with an open mind and have to say it made me rethink my stance on resistance to legalization of marijuana. Everyone should do their due diligence and get the facts become coming to a judgement about marijuana.
