Great Fortune Telling Book!

I have loved this method of fortune telling for years. But I have never been so delighted as the day I found this wonderful hard cover book version with all the meanings to the cards written in it and a delightfully artistic game board included. The board is too nice to use! My original softcover game was wearing out so I bought this to replace it. It's beautifully done and makes a wonderful way to preserve this accurate method of reading the cards. I love this card reading method. It's the best one out there! Forget tarot! You need this!

I first saw this in 1976 and have used it every since, over the years I have had to replace the book more than once, it is similar to the way my grandfather did cards in that he used regular playing cards, because the combinations vary with 32 houses and 32 cards even doing more than one reading back to back tends to create different results. I have found that I was able to add an element from another reading method that has made this method as accurate as doing it exactly as instructed.
For those interested, say a friend wants a reading they are not around to shuffle their own cards, shuffle the cards focus on the person you are doing the reading for, then spell out their name, laying the cards face down one at a time, example for JOHN you would have four piles, dealing the cards out in four piles J then O then H then N then repeat til all cards are dealt. Then pick the cards up in order from the piles so first card you would pick up would be top from J pile next the top of O pile next the top from H pile, then top from N pile and then go back to J ... be sure to keep it so that the 1st J card is the top card the first O card would be the second card the third would be the one from H pile the fourth would be the Top from the N pile, and the fifth would be the next top from the J pile, etc ... so that the first card on the J pile would be the Compass house, the first from the O pile would be in the Wish house, the first from the H pile would be in the success house the first card from the N pile would be the Moon house, the next J pile card would be Surprise house... etc ...
Since my friends and family are spread out, this enables a reading to be done, even when the person can't be there, lol thanks to emails it is easy.
Margaret Ward has created an amazingly accurate system, I have used other methods using regular playing cards, and other types of oracle and tarot decks but this is by far the most accurate system I have ever used.
And if you get the newer version of this book that doesn't have the game board there is a link when you look inside sample of this book that lets you download a pdf file of the board that can be used as a guide, that shows the lovely images but they are not the original designs for that matter since this book has been around for so long I doubt that what I consider the original design of the board is in fact the original.
The older format of the book where you open it so that you can see all four suits on the open pages in front of you is better so if you see this book in that format style I would recommend that you purchase that one, but other wise it doesn't matter the information is useful, insightful, and surprisingly accurate for beginner or experienced reader.

Surprising

I've had this game and consulted with it since 1978. A dear, clairvoyant friend who had used it for years introduced it to me. It's interesting how well some of the card readings coincide with what is going on in one's life. It's fun and surprising.
