I love this guide!!!!

Planning our trip this winter to Easter Island -- this is the absolutely perfect guide book for first-timers!! Plus it will be a fantastic remembrance because it has great photos (not the usual ones you always see of Easter Island). I've already found the answers to several questions I had about our journey, plus learned a lot of new facts! Wonderful book!

Great guide book for Easter Island

I wish we had had this guide book when we visited Easter Island years ago. It would have made all the difference.
This book has a concise history of the island, and a summery of all the most up-to-date archeological research.
The guide book is very well laid out with maps and information about each site on the island. In addition, there's
information about the best restaurants and accommdations. If there's only one book you could chose for an easy, informative,
up-to-date and wonderful trip to Easter Island, this would be the one!!

Exploring Easter Island with Kay Kenady Sanger

Reading this latest Easter Island travel guide was a revelation.
So much to do and see, good accommodation choices, interesting archeological
finds. And I thought it was just about Rapa Nui rock art. Right after reading
the book a dear friend of mine was booking tickets to Chile and surrounding regions.
I loaned her the book and she is going to spend some time now in Easter Island.
