Professor Ernesto Spinelli has gained an international reputation as one of the leading contemporary trainers and theorists of existential analysis as applied to psychology and psychotherapy and, more recently, the related arenas of coaching and conflict mediation. He is a UKCP registered existential psychotherapist, a Fellow of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) as well as an accredited executive coach and coaching supervisor. In 1999, Ernesto was awarded a Personal Chair as Professor of psychotherapy, counselling and counselling psychology. Ernesto is Director of ES Associates, an organisation dedicated to the advancement of psychotherapy, coaching, and supervision through specialist seminars and training programmes. I hate this book(It's so boring)

This book is bad. I personally don't like because it makes everything boring. I took another class that relates to this and we use a book called Programming logic and design and it's 3 times better than this books and does a great job at explaining code. If you are going to use this book for your class I wish the best.

Due to their expertise and assistance with this population, we have implemented a dementia program in our own facility, and have found significant improvement with our elders with dementia. Since the program's inception, all staff have reported less falls, more engaged elders, increased meaningful activities and structure, and increased compliance with eating. Watson & Shadowens are published, present nationally and internationally to therapists and caregivers on the topic of dementia behavior management. They are co-authors of two books, one for therapists, Dementia Therapy and Program Development, and one for caregivers, Dementia: Loving Care with a Therapeutic Benefit. Working together, they have established a highly successful approach to managing dementia induced behavior that incorporates evidence-based strategies unique to individuals with dementia to improve their lives and restore balance to their living environment. Aditya P. Mathur is Professor and Head, Department of Computer Science, at Purdue University. He is one of the founders of the department of Computer Science at BITS, Pilani, India where he designed, developed, and taught the first course on microprocessors to undergraduate students from his seminal book Introduction to Microprocessors. Dr. Mathur has been a prolific researcher with over 100 published works in international journals and conferences. His key contributions include a multilingual computer, the saturation effect in software testing, a theory of software cybernetics, and novel techniques for the estimation of software reliability.

An Excellent Text Book for Software Testing

The University of Texas at Dallas is one of the few institutions in USA, which has a Software Engineering Program offering BS, MS and PhD degrees. One of the core courses for our students (both undergraduate and graduate) majoring in Software Engineering is "Software Testing, Verification, Validation and Quality Assurance." Being an instructor for this course, I have long searched for an appropriate textbook for my students. An ideal book should not only cover different testing principles and techniques but also provide good examples with detailed explanations to help students better understand the material. Moreover, it should have sufficient content at different levels (introductory, intermediate, and advanced) so that instructors can select what is the best for their classes. The book "Foundations of Software Testing" by Professor Aditya Mathur is one of the best books that covers all the concerns described above. Moreover, being a researcher in the software testing area with ten years of industry experience, I have also found that this book can serve as a very useful reference for testing practitioners and help them perform their work. I strongly recommend this book to students who want to learn software testing, to instructors who teach classes in testing, and to programmers and testers for whom testing is part of their job.

A great textbook for software testing

I have used this book as a software testing researcher and also an educator for over a year now. Many people across the globe, including me, believe that this book by Aditya is the best textbook for teaching testing.

I have used the book in my undergraduate "Software Testing" and my graduate "Advanced Software Testing" courses. Both my students and me love the preciseness, comprehensiveness and detail presented in this book. The informative and to-the-point examples and end-of-chapter exercises add to its value.

Furthermore, I've recently had the chance to look at and quickly compare three recent books on testing: the current book by Aditya Mathur, Ammann and Offutt's "Introduction to Software Testing", and Naik and Tripathy's "Software Testing and Quality Assurance: Theory and Practice". A systematic comparison of them would require much more effort, which has not been feasible for me. However, while I believe all three books are well written by leaders in the field, I think the current book gets my first rank from the teaching perspective and its good style to presenting the testing concepts in order, its modern terminology and good depth of detail.

Last but not least, for the testing educators using this book, I have a surprise and that is: Aditya and I have collaborated since the summer of 2008 in preparing a (partial) solution manual for this book, the URL for which is available from Dr. Mathur's Purdue (book) website. Interested educators may contact me with their credentials and I would send them a copy of the solution manual.

In closing, I admire Aditya's effort in having made a good contribution to the collection of resources emerging on software testing, which I believe is entering its golden age, and the software industry is investing more and more on this very important software engineering discipline. Best text book on software testing

Foundations of Software Testing is a comprehensive book that can be used both for an undergraduate and a graduate course on testing. The book covers all important aspects of testing in great detail; examples are always present and are easy to follow. The book also has a good set of exercises at the end of each chapter. Though it is a text book (definitely the best one among the few real text books on testing) it is also a very good reference book to people in industry. I strongly recommend the book.

About the Author
MICHAEL DUANE ARCHER has been an active commodity futures and Forex trader for over thirty years. He has worked in various advisory capacities, notably as a commodity trading advisor and a SEC-registered investment advisor. Archer operates www.fxpraxis.com and is a professional Forex money manager. He is also the author of Getting Started in Currency Trading, which is also published by Wiley.

JAMES LAUREN BICKFORD began trading in commodity futures in the early 1980s. Since 2001, he has focused his investment efforts solely on trading spot currency pairs via online Forex dealers. Bickford's academic background is in computer science, mathematics, and statistics. By profession, he has been a software engineer for nearly three decades.

Swiss Army Toolbox

First off, this book is not for the beginner. Nevertheless, for the intermediate and advanced traders, there are nice tools that provide a lot of food for thought. The authors are definitely traders, there is no disputing that. They also go above and beyond the call of duty in mining data. The pages offer a wealth of proof of the number crunching power we get from today's technology, as well as the ability to present the data in a usable format.

My favorite chapters are the ones dealing with Point & Figure (which gave me tons of ideas), Swing Properties, Cycle Analysis, and last but not least, the Goodman Swing Count System. This chapter alone will leave you wanting more information on this virtually unknown (up till now) trading method.

Again, this book may not serve the needs of the beginning trader. But for the intermediate/advanced trader who is past the market infatuation stage and is willing to do the work, there are definite workable ideas contained within.

Encyclopedia of tools for experienced traders

This volume is an excellent source book of trading tools for the Forex Trader. You will not find a complete system with which to trade with or a primer on trading the Forex. This is not a book for a trading novice. But for the journeyman trader looking for tools to add to his/her own trading methodology,it provides an 'encyclopedia' of ideas and techniques with which to evaluate and forecast the behavior of the currency markets. The Forex Chartist Companion is solid reference that belongs next to your trading station.

Make money writing a forex tradingbook

Yet another book rehashing old technical analysis material. I also have problems with the judgment of this author. He talks about arbitrage and how one can profit when different currency pairs go out of sync. This is mostly for professionals, but some do it with a home computer as well, he continues. I find this very naive. Old material and a naive author. You decide if it is worth $53.

Do you want to make money? Rough calculation: $15 dollars of the selling price of $53 goes to the author. Libraries buy 3000 copies and individuals buy 5000 copies. That is $120,000 to the author. Let's assume the book can be written in 6 months. That is $20,000 per month in salary.

Some authors write books because they find it a bit dull and boring to only sit in front of the monitors. I can understand and sympathize. The hard thing for potential buyers is to know when an author is just publishing as a side business because his trading life makes him lonely and when an author is publishing as his main business while also trying (unsuccessfully) to make money trading.

You have to know how to express your attitudes and desires when you want something from your loved one, so that he or she understand you for sure. Then books like “What We Don’t Know About Love” come to help – it is undoubtedly an extremely valuable, practically oriented, rational reading, which can be beneficial for both sexes.
According to the author many marriages in the past were not stable too, but survived - public opinion and prejudices affected them inadequately. But there is something else - in the past gender roles were more clearly divided and tensions on this basis arose hardly ever. As for the economic difficulties, so typical for many families within smaller settlements in poor countries, they cannot change radically the situation in a relationship, if there are no problems in principle.

As a man, I learned.

I bought this book because I love to hear the stories of others. The problem with this book was that it had no stories, Rupi encapsulates you in an experience. I bought this to read to my significant other, I thought it may be just another pleasantry to share, but as I read it to her, I got so lost in the experience that I forgot that there was a person next to me. Feeling like it was an out-of-body type experience, I learned, and at the end of the day, I'll be a better father, son, brother, and lover because of it. So I thank the artist. Truly a pleasure.

The style reminds me of a grownup Shel Silverstein book, had Shel covered abuse, love, and loss. Some of the poems hit harder than others, but overall it's worth a read. The book can be read cover to cover in a sitting, so commitment is minimal.
